Privacy, in human terms.
Sponty uses the minimum information needed to help people connect safely. This launch draft explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information you choose to share
We process account details, profile choices, interests, activity participation, messages, and optional media to provide the service. Sensitive profile fields remain optional and are never inferred for advertising.
Location without exposure
Precise coordinates are used temporarily for eligibility and distance calculations. Other people receive coarse proximity labels, not coordinates. Location expires and is removed according to configured retention limits.
Safety and account integrity
We retain privacy-minimized device and account-link signals to prevent abuse, fraud, ban evasion, and block evasion. Raw identifiers are transformed or encrypted, access is restricted, and automated signals are subject to human review.
Your controls
You can change visibility, read receipts, reveal access, and notifications; download your data; deactivate; or request deletion. Legal, fraud-prevention, and safety records may be retained for a limited lawful period.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. Necessary processors may handle hosting, email, payment, or notifications under contracts. Card details go directly to the payment processor and are never stored by Sponty.
